Giambattista Valli is a French stylist of non-French nationality: born in Rome, after a first and rigid education in the Vatican schools, he graduated in Art and then attended Central Saint Martin College in London. Back in Italy, he worked for Roberto Capucci, Fendi and Krizia, while in Paris he became creative director of the Ungaro Fever line for Emanuel Ungaro. Today his garments are worn by Penelope Cruz, Jessica Biel, Natalie Portman, Zoe Saldana and many others including Virginia Raffaele at Sanremo 2019. His style? A woman who chooses the dress in which she feels more comfortable, and all of a sudden she immediately feels better: from the minimal to the vaporous, wide silhouette and princely skirts covered with layers and tulle and ruffles but also minimal chic.
