Founded in 2008 as a jewelry design label, the Ambush collection was launched in 2018 when it was presented at Tokyo Fashion Week as a unisex clothing line. The two founders, Yoon and Verbal, of Korean descent after having met at the University of Boston, venture into this project that reflects a perfect mix of streetwear and Japanese influences. Today, Ambush is among the most talked about emerging brands of the moment and counts, among its followers, celebrities such as Rihanna, M.I.A., Lady Gaga, Pharrel, Jay-Z and Kanye West. Thanks to the deconstructed and layered design, the two designers take elements of the subcultures and sweeten them with those oriental vibes that make the products unique. Among the collaborations we can already count prominent brands such as Louis Vuitton, SHOWstudio, Maison Kitsuné, Sacai, Nigo and Undercover.
