A mix of styles, fabrics and antithetical atmospheres to create alchemical experiments: finalist at the LVMH 2016 award, the designer Hiromichi Ochiai managed to create his own dimension, as in an ecosystem.
Founded in 2007, its Japanese brand Facetasm supports the extremes without paying attention to any and superfluous harmonies, through a connection of what dogmatically should be divided.
Facetasm of the rest is a term coined by the designer, and that comes from the English word facet: facet.
Already etymologically, therefore, Ochiai announces its aesthetic intent to combine multiple meanings and all the respective opposites.
And from the very beginning, moreover, he fought to become a bearer of Japanese fashion, which often lives relegated to the Far East.
